Medical Distribution company is EXPANDING and is looking for an EXPERIENCED Purchasing Manager with the ability and drive to be responsible for all facets of Purchasing!. Be part of a GROWING business with our the invitation to you to develop with us.
We are looking for an aggressive - energetic, bright individual who is able to multitask and absorb the responsibilities right away. You must have experience in a distribution company.
We look for you to:
Ensure supplies are ordered and delivered on a timely basis
Identify potential suppliers, performs competitive analysis and on a daily basis, selects best options.
Develop alternate sources to provide best pricing and reliability to our business needs.
Organize activities with warehouse personnel.
Develop and Adjust Inventory and Item Masters to reflect accurate vendor information.
with Excellent negotiation skills.
Abilities include:
• Ability to motivate and lead personnel to accomplish plant objectives
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
• Ability to analyze problems, identify alternatives and take corrective actions.
• Teamwork oriented.
